With the gradually increase awareness of environmental protection and higher international oil prices, the usage of recycle plastics is one of the hot spots. The current studies of the recycling polymer are mostly focus on the materials of seriously polluted or difficult to be separated based renewable energy or materials recovery technology. And few study on the waste plastic products which accompanied by injection molding process directly. Therefore, the main topics are the effect of recycling process times on the processing performance, product quality and performance and hope the results could be the reference to waste plastics application. The main research topics:(1) Select widely PP, HDPE and ABS as the research objects and put them in the way of injection molding process of 6 cycles, the samples were broken in each cycle, take the broken materials to the melt index test and the melt point test, as them to characterize the processing performance to study the effect of the recycling process times on the processing performance. The results show that:The melting point of PP and HDPE are almost independent of recycling process times, and have a certain extent to melt index, but the processing properties of the material was less affected.(2) To mechanical test for per cycle samples, as the mechanical properties to characterize the product quality to study the effect of the recycling process times on the product quality. The results show that:The tensile strength and flexural strength of PP,HDPE and ABS are varied a little as the number of processing cycles increase, almost within10%; The impact strength is the most sensitive to reprocessing, especially for ABS, which impact strength decreased by 43% after 6 cycles.(3) Put the samples which after 0,3 and 6 processing cycles into the UV weathering box and Carbon tetrachloride solution, then to mechanical test for them, as them to characterize the product performance to study the effect of the recycling process times on the product performance. The results show that:After aging, with the increased of injection process times, the impact strength of PP drops less, but the effect of recycling process times on tensile strength and flexural strength of PP are not obvious; With the increased of injection process times, the impact strength of HDPE increases more, but the effect of recycling process times on tensile strength and flexuraI strength of HDPE are not obvious; After aging, the tensile strength and flexural strength of ABS are reduced to some extent, but not caused by the different processing cycles varying degrees of decline. After soaking by carbon tetrachloride solution, with the increased of injection process times, the elongation at break of PP increases more and the impact strength drops less, but the effect of recycling process times on tensile strength and flexural strength of PP are not obvious; After soaking by carbon tetrachloride solution, the impact strength of HDPE are improved to some extent, but non-linear to recycling process times, and the effect of recycling process times on tensile strength and flexural strength of HDPE are not obvious; After soaking by carbon tetrachloride solution, processing cycles times on the mechanical properties of ABS is not very different.
