Research On Main Functional Division By The Method Of PCA And Cluster Analysis

With the development of the advancement of globalization and the regional economy integration, urbanization and industrialization are accelerated gradually. During the process, the space disorderred development and non-sustainable development are increasingly exposed, as a result, the regional coordinate development is brought into disscusion once again.In accordance with the main functional zones of the space management, it's not only adapted to implement the scientific development concept and the promotion of requirements of sustainable development in the economy and the society, but also is according to fundamental realities of the country and to the economic and the social development of the stage and the confronted problems. It's a significant theoretical innovation which aims at strengthening the space development of the national territory, standardizing the order of space development and promoting the coordinate development of regions.First of all, the article defined the theoretical basis of the main functional divisions, and it reviewed and discussed the related theories at home and abroad. At the same time, the article expounded the theories of scientific outlook on development, regional space structure, ecological economy, anti-planning, and the developing direction in future of the main function zones was summarized.Secondly, the article built the index system, basing on concept of resources bearing capacity, current exploring density and future growing potential and element level contains fourteen factors, by the analysis of nature environment characteristics, population, social and economic situation of Liyang county.Thirdly, four types of function zoning are divided in this article by SPSS, principal component analysis and cluster analysis, using the basic division unit with ten towns of Liyang county.Finally, the article put forwards several proposals on the future development of optimized, prioritized, limited development and banned exploitation areas based on the current developing state and the main issues of Liyang county.
