With the energy continuous consumption, now the world give the exploitation of the coal resources enough attention.Although domestic and international coal machine manufacture enterprises put the focus of the manufacture of the shearer on the electrical shearer, because our country's thin coal seam coal mining still has a proportion and the hydraulic traction shearer in thin coal seam mining has a price advantage, at present, many coal mining enterprises still using the hydraulic traction shearer.However, the traditional hydraulic traction system of shearer exists some problems, for example, the reliability is not high, the automation level and the traction perform are low, manual operation is not convenient to thin coal seam narrow mining space and so on. This paper counters the MG300-W tpye hydraulic traction shearer, analysed the working principle of it. With AMESim simulation software analysed its speed control characteristics. And in the light of light load and heavy load conditions, the system pressure, flow response and motor power consumption simulations were performed.Proposed the shearer hydraulic system which using load sensitive pump, the main components of it are calculated and selected, establed the simulation model of the load sensitive pump.In the same light load and heavy load conditions, flow rate and pressure response and motor power consumption are comparative analysed with the traditional shearer. Put forward the variable speed closed hydraulic traction system, the system componts are calculated and selected, established the transducer-motor mathematics model and simulation model and electrohydraulic proportional directinon valve simulation model. And in the same simulation conditions, the simulation of the variable speed and valve control and complex speed regulation pattern open-loop system are done. The comparison of the speed characteristics of the traditional hydraulic system and the draulic system which using the load sensitive pump and variable speed closed hydraulic system were done. The closed-loop PID control simulation analysis of the variable speed closed hydraulic traction system were done.The simulation results and theoretical analysis show that the hydraulic system which using load sensitive pump and variable speed closed hydraulic traction system are good at dynamic characteristics compared with the traditional hydraulic system.And the performance index have been increased.In addition, the variable speed closed hydraulic traction system provides possibility for the energy recovery. The new hydraulic traction system can according to specific engineering pracitce demands, widely used in other engineering machinery.Figure [60] table [9] reference [54]...
