| This paper based on a large number of engineering detection and field investigation, intensively study failure mechanism of softrock roadway for cross mining combined the theoretical analysis, then obtain surrounding rock deformation and failure characteristics and main factors. According to geological conditions of 5th main return airway in Jianxin Mine of Fengcheng Mining Bureau, carry out numerical simulation with FLAC3D to analysis the impact on stability of cross-mining roadway from rock strength and normal distance between cross-mining roadway and face, then determine a reasonable horizon of cross-mining roadway in Jianxin Mine. Discuss the support principle of softrock roadway and propose combined support program with rockbolt net spray, u-shaped shelf, grouting.
