Coal is the main energy of China, the security has always plays the most important part in the coal production enterprises. The coal seam gas is one of the most important reason to influence the production safety in China. In recent years, our countries have developed a series of regulatory policies, requiring strict control of the coal seam gas and making full use of it. However, because of the limited technical the application of the coal mine has been at the low level. Only the concentration of methane containing more than 30% of the gas has been used, while the majority of low-enriched gas directly be put out. This action not only pollutes the environment, but causes serious greenhouse effect, and wastes a lot of clean energy, after all the most serious influence is the risk of the security in production for coal mine.This study introduced a safe transportation of gas distribution systems dills with the gas whose concentration of the methane was about 20%.The concentration of methane with the about 20% is mixed with the air to get a mixture with 4% of methane. Then the mixture is transferred to the electric generator under a constant pressure to generate power.In this paper, the system was variable and has more of the characteristics of strong coupling. To ensure system security and reliability, the system of the gas transmission is studied. The core of the system is the programmable logic controller, high-precision detect sensors and the electric valves is used. The decouple method is applied to control the system. The methodology of system design is detailed introduced, including the component selection, hardware circuit design, PLC control program design, the communication design between the PLC and PC, and the design of the host computer monitoring software. Based on the collections and judgments of the parameter of each equipments in industrial field, the system controls the equipment to start or to stop automatically and to regulate opportunely or alarm automatically. The computer in the control center can handle the different data of the system in the real-time operation, and the parameters can be set up to achieve remote control. The system has been designed for communication via Ethernet, with a host computer and the PLC communications network. The OPC technology is used to achieve seamless access to the system. This system is studied under practical circumstance, and is compared to the targets. The circuit hardware and application programming software are performed in the lab. After the simulation and debug, the experimental data are recorded. The test results reveal that this system effectively resolves the transportation safety and the matching problem of low concentrations of gas. The paper brings out a new method to preserve and handle the low concentration gas. This has a positive influence to the safe production of China's coal mine, environmental protection and energy supply.Fig [51] Table [12] References [54]...
