The Bi-doped TiO2 (BT) nanoparticles were prepared by alcoholysis under solvothermal condition, using bismuth nitrate as bismuth sources. The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD, UV-Vis, FE-SEM and XPS, the effect of synthesis temperature, Bi added content and calcinated temperature were investigated and the photocatalytic activities were evaluated by methylene blue. The results showed that the catalyst is anatase when the Bi and Ti molar ratio is less than 0.02. With the increased amount of Bi, bismuth titanate compounds appeares and forms Ti-O-Bi bonds, and ctatlyats showe a spherical type structures. When Bi and Ti molar ratio is 0.1, synthesis temperature is 383K, calcination temperature is 773K, and the particle size is 2.9nm. Degradation efficiency of methylene blue (20mg/L) under 250W simulated sunlight reacted 3h by BT catalyst can reach 62%The N doped TiO2 (NT) nanoparticles were prepared by alcoholysis under solvothermal condition, using urea as nitrogen source. The addition amount of H2O was investigated and the photocatalytic activities were evaluated by methylene blue. The results showed that prepared NT catalysts showe a strip structure,There was no change between NT samples in crystal structure and band gap. Degradation efficiency of methylene blue (20mg/L) under 250W simulated sunlight reacted 3h by NT catalyst added 1.0mL H2O can reach 56.6%.The Bi-N codoped TiO2 (BNT) nanoparticles were prepared by alcoholysis under solvothermal condition, using bismuth nitrate as the bismuth sources, using urea as the nitrogen source. The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD, UV-Vis, FE-SEM and XPS, the effect of N added content was investigated and the photocatalytic activities were evaluated. The results showed that BNT catalysts showe a petal-like structure. Compared with the BT sample, crystallinity of BNT catalysts make better and band gap of BNT catalysts are decreased by added N. Compared with the NT sample, the N content of BNT catalysts increase from 0.55% to 0.66% with added Bi. Degradation efficiency of methylene blue (20mg/L) under 250W simulated sunlight reacted 3h by BNT catalyst N and Ti molar ratio of 0.3 can reach 93.86%..BNT membrane electrodes were prepared by dipping-tiras-calcining and loaded in carbon rods. The photoelectrocatalytic activities of BNT electrodes were evaluated. The results showed that the surface of BNT electrode appeared pore like structure in single layer, and the surface of BNT electrode appeared patchy structure. The photocurrent is increased with increasing the membrane layer. When the applied voltage is 3V, the membrane layer is 3; the removal rate of methylene blue (10mg/L) was 92.54% under 250W simulated sunlight reacted 2h by BNT electrodes. BNT electrodes can be reused.
