Research On The Process Of Micro-Array Parts In EDM Machine

The application of most micro-holes parts as the key structural components in the aerospace, electronics, textile and other industrial areas is becoming more and more widespread, accuracy of which is more and more highly. Array holes by micro EDM is the more common methods used at home and abroad, because the process of micro EDM only produces a small force, has highly copy precision and so on. There isn't a piece of industrial and commercial equipment for micro-array holes, therefore, to develop a micro-array holes equipment with independent intellectual property rights can't only bring considerable economic benefits, but also improve the competitiveness in high technology in our country.Most of new technology about fabricating micro electrodes and manufacturing micro-array holes is inferred in this paper. Based on the large number of technological documents and the comparison between advantages and disadvantages of each method, finally, micro EDM is chosen. To fabricate the micro electrodes on the line consists of block grinding and wire electrode grinding. Elaborating the process of block grinding, wire electrode grinding and micro holes, respectively.During the producing of micro electrodes, formulate the electrode diameter with electrode sizes before and after grinding, feed and discharge gap and validate it in the experiment. After careful analysis of all kinds of phenomena on the electrode surface, to give some corresponding technological solutions and sum up many factors which influence dimensional accuracy and shape accuracy of the micro electrode.To research the various factors (power, working fluid, the servo speed, etc) which impact the quality of the processed hole and the consistency of the micro-array holes, and then optimize the process parameters. Process the micro-array holes with the optimized processing parameters, and verify that these parameters is reasonable or not.
