| Recent years, with the rapid development of the finite element simulation technology, CAE software plays an increasingly important role in vehicle manufacturing. But traditional CAE software is weak in modeling capabilities, it must be used with CAD software. The transformation of model between CAD/CAE systems may leads to data loss, accuracy decreased and iterative construction of the CAE analysis models. In the early period of automobile panels'part design and process design, Designer has to repeatedly modify CAD model and CAE simulate to improve its formability. In the project of automobile panels'CAE calculation, There is a lot of data have to set for process in pre-process setting and it spends a lot of time in construct CAE model, Repeatedly establish the CAE model after process plan model modification leads to a large number of redundant operation and low efficiency. The CAD/CAE integration system with synchronous simulation is a good way for those problems.The research of this paper was supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China (No. 50905066) and National NC Science and Technology Major Project (No.2010ZX04014-072 and No. 2009ZX04013-031). On the basis of the in-depth study on CAD/CAE integration, synchronous simulation, post display, a synchronous simulation system named FASTAMP_NX for automobile panel was developed based on NX platform.This system is fully integrated into NX platform with CAD/CAE seamless integration and CAD/CAE model synchronous updates which can avoid CAE model duplicate building result from process plan CAD model modification, and the system can quickly and accurately display large and complex models CAE simulation results in post-process.On the basis of study on automobile panels'forming process property and its CAE analysis process with traditional CAE, this paper do an in-depth study on the functional requirements of synchronous simulation system's pre-process and post-process, and finish the design of the system's frame. The paper has solved the base problems such as process management, virtual assembly, data management, post-process display and so on with NX Open technology. The key techniques for synchronous simulation such as associated design and synchronous update have been studied in-depth. Finally synchronous response between CAD and CAE model is achieved with those associated technology such as wave association and UDO association supplied by NX.The synchronous simulation system's efficiency and feasibility was verified through a precise simulation of a heavy truck's engine back boxing based on real drawbead and synchronous simulation after its process plan modify on the synchronous simulation system with the CAD modeling capability of NX. At the end of this paper, some study on the tailor weld line optimization and tailor weld blank formability analysis was done with FASTAM_NX and Blank Estimate Wizard (BEW) developed by our laboratory. |
