With the development of socioeconomic and the improvement of the people's living standards, China has become one of the biggest countries consuming automotive, while entertainment systems such as integrated audio, navigation and communication functions are required to be increasingly improved. Automotive, purely as a single-function transport vehicle to travel, has been developed in a multi-direction way. For car entertainment systems, rear seat entertainment system, the global car TV, high-performance navigation systems, media player, integrated Class D amplifier and other functions is essential in high-end automotive electronics facility.In this paper, virtual manufacturing technology is adopted to select materials of heat dissipation module and thermal interface material, perform conduct design and optimization for mechanical structure and thermal performance. The optimal die-casting parameters and proposal are obtained by simulation of molding and manufacturing process for heatsink. After research and design process, Series of tests and comparison are applied to verify the final product. Virtual simulation accuracy is verified by comparing between test results and simulation results.It can be seen from the investigation that, by applying simulation of virtual manufacturing technology in all links such as concept design, mechanical design, simulation and preprocessing analysis, achievement of optimizing of mechanical structure, improving thermal performance and decreasing changing times in mould design can obtained, which reduces R&D period and cost of development, and increase the reliability of production.
