Cypermethrin has high toxicity,bioaccumulation,and long-term environmental residualand,hereditary toxicity, therefore the development of efficiency treatment of cypermethrin has great environmental significance. At present, the traditional degradation method of cypermethrin is using the biochemical technology,the photochemical technology has been also reported.In order to realize the effective degradation of organic pollutants,the Electro-Fenton technology,one method of advanced oxidation processes,which is based on the methods of non-selective strong oxidizing hydroxyl radicals was developed with the development of industry.The Electro-Fenton technology receives much attractions in recent years,and is widely used in printing and dyeing wastewater,pesticide and industrial wastewater treatment.In this paper,the Electro-Fenton technology was used for the treatment of the cypermethrin waste water, which provides a new method for the degeneration of cypermethrin.The primary constants are as follows:(1)Comprehensive study of the role and action principle of the operating factors,and the mechanism and kinetics of COD decline in the process of the electro-fenton treatment.The result shows the optimized condition is:200mA applied currency,pH3,and 2mM Fe2+.(2)Combind with the response surface method (RSM ), designing Center composite design (CCD) experiments,we investigate three operating paraments: the ferrous ion concentration, initial pH and current strength,and establish quadratic regression model.Using the Design Expert software ,we conduct variance analysis and significant test and obtains the optimistic combination condition is ferrous ion dosing quantity 1.02 mM, current as 194.17 mA, pH value 3.8 .(3)Observe the effect of addition of anthraquinone in the Electro-Fenton system,and the result shows that there is none significant improvement of Hydroxyl radicals produced.
