As environmental pollution, water pollution is an urgent problem all over the world. Especially, the process toward the organic pollutants of poisonous and difficult to break down has been a very important research subject in the field of environmental protection. Therefore, the research, development and use of the new materials have attracted extensive attention of the chemists. Heteropoly acid, as a solid acid has good acidity and catalytic oxidation performance.Heteropoly acids are Lewis-acid and proton acid. Due to their possession of good acidity and oxidant catalyst activity, environmental friendly, HPAs win much attention from researchers. However, the catalytic activities of the heteropoly acids are greatly limited due to their low specific surface areas, and they are easy to lose and it is difficult to separate them from the reaction systems. Therefore, many attempts have been made to enhance the catalytic activity of the heteropoly acids. The supported heteropoly acids were prepared by incorporating the heteropoly acids into porous materials. In this paper, heteropoly acids were immobrlized into mesopore materials with lager surface area and high thermal stability. The supported heteropoly acids catalysts were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TEM and N2 adsorption-desorption thechniques. In addition, the effects of supported contents of heteropoly acids, the concentration of methyl orange, the addition of H2O2 on degradation rate also had been researched.
