Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard, which processed with cement, Masson Pine particle and some additives, is kind of new construction materials. The material, combining the advantages of both cement and wood, is the current ideal housing construction material. Development of the Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard will help improve the efficiency of wood utilization, offer a new method of industry utilization of plantation wood and promote sustainable development of forestry industry, as well as production and reform of new construction material in China. This paper has systematically researched contents of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard with the modern equipment of X-ray, DSC, FTIR, Cone calorimeter etc by multidisciplinary approach. The contents of research includes: the hydration characteristics of mixture of Masson Pine and cement, the processing and properties of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard, the acoustic, thermal, combustion performance of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard.Through the above study the author has revealed the hydration characteristics of mixture of Masson Pine and cement. The results provided a theoretical basis improving the adaptability of cement and Masson Pine wood flour. Through experiment the author can determine the reasonable production process of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard by analyzing the physical and mechanical properties of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard with different density, cement/wood ratio, particle size, performance/corn ratio. And meanwhile, flame retardant, acoustic performance and thermal property of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard were provided by test.Through experiment and testing, the result showed as following: It was more or less influence degree of wood on Portland cement hydration process with Masson Pine wood flour. Effect of wood on Portland cement hydration process has originated in primary stage of cement hydration. It shows that Masson Pine wood flour does not affect the hydration of C3A, accelerates the formation of AFt and delays the C-S-H formation. The adaptability of cement and Masson Pine wood flour was improved by adding chemical additives. The remarkable effect were TS, MOR, MOE, IB of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard caused by different processing conditions. Acoustic performance of Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard is pour, insulation property of it is excellent and Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard achieves flame retardant grade. Considering all factors, the optimum technology of producing Masson Pine cement-bonded particleboard is 6㎝ particle length, 5~8㎜ particle width, 0.2~0.4㎜ particle thickness, cement/wood ratio at 2.0 and performance/corn ratio at 20︰80.
