At present, with the rapid development of economy in the world, the mineral resources are decreasing, so people are increasingly concerned about the accuracy of mineral resources extraction. The micro-bubble flotation technology as an important extraction technology has become more and more popular among the people. Mircrobubble generator is the key of the micro-bubble flotation technology,it has become hotspot of study.Firstly, the work principle, the advantage and disadvantage of several typical flotation column are discussed systematically, the work principle of the mixed-flow microvesicle generator is narrated also. According to fluid mechanics theory, the basic performance of the mixed-flow mircrovesicle generator is constructed, reveal the relation between structural parameter and operating parameter. The mineralization of microvesicle and flotation separation principle is studied. By means of FLUENT, which is CFD software, construct triphase flow field simulation model of the mixed-flow microvesicle generator, analyze the turbulent kinetic energy, the velocity and volume fraction of phase and their distribute, and the best structural parameters of micro-bubble flotation generator is summarized.Usually diffusion tube material of the mixed-flow mircrovesicle generator is steel, in order to improve flotation performance, reduce the cost, shorten the experimental cycle, we used another material ABS to take place of the steel; experiment on the design of micro-bubble generator for water experiment and ore choose experiment, analyzing experimental data,for improve structure parameters and operating parameters.The selection of this thesis comes from the natural science funds. Through the on-site experiment analysis of micro-bubble flotation, this paper summarizes the impact factors of micro-bubble generator performance and has designed a mixed-flow microvesicle generator of better performance, it has some meanings in developing micro-particle flotation equipments.
