In recent years, the market demand for wrought aluminum alloy wire is getting greater and greater, but the traditional production process has low efficiency, poor quality, a bit of product type, difficult to meet the market demand. Some kinds of aluminum alloy generate segregation in the process of continuous casting, bring crack when rolling, so they aren't suitable for directly conducting continuous casting and direct rolling. Allow for combination of Semi-solid technology and Continuous casting and direct rolling about PROPERZI or SCR, it is able to expand product scope and type about aluminum alloy wire rod, and improve producing efficiency and product quality.The design of main part of the single roller average mechanical stirring experiment. Design of single roller average include rolling stirring or agitator in traditional. This design could be made up of advantage of both, combining rolling stirring and agitator. The special advantages of the device is retaining function of shearing,mixing and propulsion, and could be made up the function of breaking dendrite; the single stirring rod and the mixing cast crack was described in details, and the distortion strength of the spindle of single stirring rod was also checked in this paper.The tin-lead alloy was researching as culture experiments in this paper at first. The best experimental parameters of stirring temperature 610℃and cutting rates 60r·min-1 were obtained by the analysis from theoretical point, the feasibility of the device of fabricate semi-solid billet was showing. The improvement of the experiment device in the basic, and the process of semi-solid experimentation was researching in detailed about the 6061 alloy, the effect of semi-solid microstructure properties about rate of cooling, stirring temperature, shear rate, the major conclusions of present paper are asl:1. The formation of the higher rate of cooling is beneficial to fine grains.2. In the fitting temperature rage, the lower rate of cooling, the lower melt, and getting the less grain in size, it was drawing a best temperature 610°3. The higher shear rate was beneficial to spheroidize approximation, but the higher shear rate was easy mingling gas and impurity, the best shear rate is 7 r·s-1.In order to verification the effect of mechanical properties of 6061 alloy, it is analyzed that 6061 semi-solid billet alloy warm extrusion process and result in this paper. The experiment results indicate that the mechanical properties was rising about 6061 alloy extrusion has been semi-solid treated than the casting billet of 6061 alloy extrusion.It was found that the semi-solid single roller average mechanical stirring could be up to the standard of the preparation of semi-solid alloy billet from this study. This equipment combined with continuous casting and direct rolling was operable in technology. The basic of in dustrialization in this aspect was offered.
