Coal gas referring to all the harmful gas in coal mine is mainly generated because of coal metamorphism, and the conditions of gas storage and distribution are closely related with the function of tectonic movement after coal formation. In recent years, with the lengthways development of mining depth on coal seam, the geological condition is more and more complex, and the problem of mining gas is more serious. According to gas data of main coal seam 8, combined with geological structural feature in the mining area, the text emphasizes the research about the control of geological structure and region structure evolution on gas, masters gas distribution law and storage state, predicts gushing quantity of deep well field, to prevent the mine gas calamity and guarantee the safety in production of mine.This research is based on the control action of geological structure on coal seam gas and its impact on gas storage and gushing quantity. Confirm gas content and gas pressure etc, by laboratory test and field test of the gas parameters. In addition, collect and analyze the data of gas gushing quantity in stope face, use linear regression statistics method to research gas distribution law in deep coal, draw gas gushing quantity contour map of the main coal seam and gas geological map. Use region geologic structure evolvement theory to analyze the control action of regional structure on coal seam gas.The conclusion shows that early extrusion tectonic environment plays a positive role for gas generation and storage in Nanpiao mining area, but later tension function supports good tectonic environment for gas loss. Most of fault in Dayaogou mine is open fault, so gas easily runs away. Because of a mass of magmatic rock intrusion, rock crevice water existing, broken roof and broken floor, the environment which is useful to gas loss generates. Through field test and analysis, it is also proved that gas content value is little, so is the gas pressure value. However, as some small structure and gas bag existing, individual region gas gushes abnormally.
