In today's society, chemical and related industry keeps growing quickly. Especially in the Midwest of China, government encourages enterprise to establish many chemical plants as the core of the emerging industrial estate. Chemical industry is an important basis for the industry. It brings us important supply and economic growth, meanwhile, bring a lot of pollutants to industrial estate. Sewage is the main pollutants in many of pollutants. The whole society has been paying great attention to the pollution problem. In recent years, government has been took measures for pollution prevention:encourage enterprise to construct sewage treatment system, increase the surveillance and regulation of enterprise, strictly control the emissions of pollutants.Chemical industry and related industries discharge a lot of ammonia nitrogen wastewater every year. Ammonia nitrogen is an important index of sewage discharge standards. Ammonia nitrogen wastewater not only serious damage ecological environment, but also destroys the human survival environment, affect human health. The treatment way of ammonia nitrogen wastewater mainly divided into physical chemical method and biological method. Two kinds of method have its own advantages and disadvantages. Biochemical method although have a highly efficient, stable and other advantages, but require a higher demand for processing conditions to physical chemical method. High ammonia nitrogen has inhibition to microorganism activity and will reduce degradation efficiency of biochemical system for organic pollutants. Physico-chemical and biological treatment method can effectively treat high ammonia nitrogen organic wastewater. Reasonable and effective pretreatment method will become the key. Air stripping is very suitable to be pretreatment method, because it has larger treatment capacity and higher processing efficiency.This paper studies ammonia nitrogen removal section of actual sewage treatment process with a coking enterprise. This study based on late-model air stripping reaction equipment. The reactor which has been applied for patent was used to recovery ammonia effectively, in order to realize the industrialization. This investigation was a laboratory simulation analysis of coking wastewater with high concentration ammonia nitrogen. Moreover, we calculated the best parameters to provide the basis equipment data for enlargement of the reactor.This paper calculates the reactor parameter. We manufacture the air stripping reactor and the related researches are completed. The effect of temperature, pressure, pH, rate of flow, aeration to nitrogen removal reaction is the main study object. Compared with the previous experimental studies, this study has the difference in the influence of reaction temperature conditions. Much water vapor overflowing from the wastewater and Solution viscosity increases may be the mainly reasons. They decrease the ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency. The optimum conditions of ammonia nitrogen removal are 55℃,-0.04MPa, pH= 12-13, rate of flow of 10ml/min, aeration of 0.3m3/h.This paper further studies the treatability of the reactor with organic matter Existing condition. In the condition of the existence of organic matter (basically phenol as the research object), ammonia nitrogen removal with temperature, vacuum conditions different from the conditions of without organic matter. But after changing the reaction conditions (55℃,-0.04MPa, pH=13, rate of flow of 10ml/min, aeration of 0.4m3/h), ammonia nitrogen removal rate is still can above 95%. This experiment shows that the reactor has very good handling ability on the real wastewater and expected to be widely applied in the future production.
