Along with the continual development of the industry Economy and the industry, the demand for energy increases, so the problem of the scarity in energy sources will be severer and severer. The cost in energy sources is incessant augmenting, in orde to improve the economic efficiency of enterprises, the energy saving and consumption depressing are extremely necessary. The industries of petrochemistry consume huge energy, and the Atomsphere-Vacuum unit, Fluid Catalytic Cracking unit (FCC), Delayed Coker unit, Continuous Catalytic Reforming Unit (CCR) consume the most energy in a refinery, so through the heat exchanger network optimization technology to improve efficiency and energy are more important for modern construct and development.This paper just surrouds the topaic, and it uses the reconstruction of Atomsphere-Vacuum unit, FCC, Delayed Coker unit, CCR in one refinery as technical background. With the technology of optimization and energy saving of heat exchanger networks and heat exchanger net simulation design system software technology (HENS), the paper goes along word as follows:1.This paper separately provides critical reviews of the literature on synthesis of heat exchanger net (HEN), optimal analysis of HEN, optimal design of heat exchangers, optimal simulation of HEN. The contents, methods as well as the chronological milestone in the development of these methods are presented.2.Four plants of Oil Refinery HEN were analyzed and diagnosed by the use of HENS.The problems of the old HEN are found out and a retrofitted HEN is proposed by the ynthesis, analysis, and simulation of HEN and optimum design of heat exchangers. At last, the whole captial cost and benefit were calculated, the cost and payback period were also listed.3.In the study of optimization and energy saving heat exchanger networks, the problem of low-temperature waste heat of HEN be focused on the issue were found. The way of the flow match rules have been strictly executed were unavailable. With the low-temperature end and high-temperature synthesis of two-way digital terminal, this paper proposed method to improve this , and through the HEN process simulation proved to be feasible.
