1,6-Hexamethylenediisocyanate(HDI) is an extensive use of chemical material, has huge potential market. Our country relies heavily on imports. The article through the entire process flow simulation for the carbonatemethod to produce 1,6-Hexamethylenediisocyanate(HDI) technology, trying to provide some references for HDI production.For the complexity of the HDI produce technology, numerous components and highly non-ideal system, the process of HDI production has been reasonably constructed and assumpted. This paper selects the right unit equipment and reactor model, Using the core technology of the chemical industrial process system engineering-Cutting and Sorting technology analyses the entire process flow reasonably and solves several blackflow of cutting problems.Due to complexity of the HDI process, numerous components, without relevant data and the highly non-ideal system, this paper has estimated lack property reasonably, Using rigorous model to simulate the process. For the distillation column model, Using classical tridiagonal matrix, By means of methods of bubble and dew point to solve it. With the help of the sequential modular approach and two tiered approach, System has got reasonable solution. These methods increase greatly the computation efficiency and stability. About solving the state equation cubic function, not using the traditional method, such as Newton method and secant method to solve it, but using Wang Jian-hong third-order method to solve it, This method's calculation velocity faster than general analytic method and has the advantage of less sensitive to the initial values.After establish the whole process flow model, Considering from the safety,energy-saving,environmental protection and increase production efficiency several aspects, this paper emulated varied cases using simulation softrare and analyzed sensitivities under the different conditions and caculated hydraulics of every columns. Based on the emulation results, this paper found out operatable flexibilities, and proposed operating parameters. This simulation basically reflected the laws of the carbonatemethod of produce HDI technology. The simulation results can provided a reference of new or modified HDI produce technology and also have certain significance to the development of our country's polyurethane.
