The variation of atmospheric pressure has relative large impact to mechanized caving coal face. But the research of this affect has been ignored by many scholars easily.During the daily management of mine data, the interfering factor of atmospheric pressure variation to mine production also has been ignored. This is the first paper which applies data mining into the mine safety management. It introduces this in detail through analysis of Wulong Mine's historical data and combined with the mine actual condition and select SPSS data mining tools. Through data warehouse and data mining technology, this paper proposes screening criteria of data preprocessing which processed by large number of historical data on the basis of Wulong Mine monitoring data. It finds the relationship between atmospheric pressure and gas concentration emission of 3223 mechanized caving coal face per day and per year, and gets the relative regression equation:y=8.923-0.008x;y=51.312-0.0494x by SPSS mining data tools. Meanwhile, it analyses effect of atmospheric pressure to air flow pressure underground in different area, including air flow pressure underground, work face and ventilation pressure, to get the regression equation. Then getting the correspond improved measures based on the conclusion. Though the 3223 working face has been finished exploiting, any working face could analyse effect of atmospheric pressure to working face by way of this paper.
