Since the 1990s,The technology of mine 3D visualization has been the forefront research during the fields of digital mining,"3S"and computer technique.Vividly it describes the spatial distributions of orebody, it loads the vertical attribute value based on the traditional 2D orebody information, and it makes people understanding of the underground orebody situation more intuitively and more completely. In recent years, as the rapid technology development of science and computer, as well as the theories of artificial intelligence, systems engineering, database, information management continuous innovation,3D visualization technology has gradually matured, and began to played a huge role in mine design, production, mineral survey, resource estimates, and so on. But in China, the researchment of 3D visualization has a late start, compared with other countries, there is a gap in theoretical results and software development, but under the National Natural Science Foundation's strong support, and the efforts of experts in various fields, as well as the favorable international environment, China has also made remarkable achievements in 3D visualization technology.Taking Huafeng coal mine in Xinwen group as an example, this paper analyses solid models of the underground coal 3D visualization, that based on the borehole data, combined with the technology of Oracle XML DB, Surpac mining software, and Visual Studio programming language tools,The main contents of this paper as follows:(1) Take Huafeng coal mine in Xinwen group as an example, this paper Analyzs the characteristics of borehole data, and codes borehole data using the XML code and then stores them with technology of Oracle XML DB.(2) Using Visual Basic programming tools, borehole data coded by the XML was conversed which was stored in Oracle.Extracting the related information,the TXT format file was edited to fit Surpac software for use, in order to make base for solid models of orebody 3d visualization.(3) Achieving the underground coal 3d space distribution by using the mining software of Surpac.
