This paper introduces the stress analysis during sheet metal bending through which we make a deep analysis on sheet metal unfold, minimum bending radius, distance between holes to wall, bending wall minimum height, pre-manufacture workmanship holes, bending spring back, bending tool and bending stress calculate.Then, it introduces how to use pro/e to build the model and unfold the model and make a contrast between theoretical calculation and software. With the implement of bending factor, it can better support the real production.Analog simulation with Deform software, it analyzes the minimum bending radius and distance between holes to wall. The theoretical data is aligning with the simulation. Workmanship parameter can be validated and improved during the real production after model built.Analog simulation with Dynaform software,it analyzes the bending spring back. After model building, Dynaform can validate and inprove the parameter in real production.
