Since there is little petroleum while abundant natural gas and coal in China, it is potential to develop Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, a new technology to transform coal and natural gas into liquid, as one efficient way to alleviate the problem of shortage energy supply of China. To achieve this goal, a pilot experimental device for 100t/a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis will be designed by a company.In this thesis, the whole scheme of the middle-pilet device was designed, including the process construction and calculation, the design of main equipment fixed bed reactor and equipment layout.The process flow diagram is designed according to the requirements of pilot experiment, which contains supply unit, raw gas purification unit, reaction unit, separation unit and the compressor cycle unit. The scale of pilot experimental device will be 100t/a oil. The fixed bed reactor is designed as follows:the catalyst filling quantity in reaction tube is 0.0615m3, the size of reaction tube diameter isΦ38×3mm and the number of tube is 7, the pitch of the tube is 48mm, the shell diameter is 200mm, the temperature of cooling medium is 210℃, the heat transfer coefficient between catalyst bed and cooling medium is 741kJ/(m·h·K), which is able to satisfy the cooling requirements of catalyst bed. The structure of fixed bed reactor is drawn according to these data. The factory distribution and equipment layout are designed at the end of the project.
