Catalyst for hydrogenation refining waste both is solid waste, but also contains both Co, Mo, Ni, V and other important non-ferrous metal resources. Because HDS generally contain large quantities of coke and oil, mostly by domestic roasting-extraction method for recycling. Roasting-Leaching calcination main leaching vanadium, molybdenum, the cobalt and nickel is difficult to recycle, not only caused a serious waste of resources, but also lead to secondary pollution. Therefore, the search for HDS of clean recycling process is imminent. In this paper, a large number of exploratory tests and complex analytical work of the foundation was studyed, started from the "Hydrometallurgy" process, recovery of vanadium, molybdenum, cobalt and nickel in the clean production process were studied.Process mainly includes three parts:(1) choose the right system and the reaction conditions, waste catalyst in the leaching of valuable metals and alumina carrier was leached. (2) find the right combination of technology, a variety of valuable metals from solution, a clear "division" was formed, valuable metals from a variety of target products was extracted. P306-kerosene as extractant and extract vanadium and molybdenum was selected, vanadium was stripped out of molybdenum, with 15% of the sodium sulfide to cobalt and nickel was separate and from aluminum, precipitate was dissolved with hydrochloric acid, cobalt was extracted using N235, back-extraction rate was 99.6%. (3) after the extraction of metals, leaching fluid recycling and safe disposal was studyed. In this paper, by adjusting acidity of leaching solution, the variety of valuable metal recovery can reach 90% or more, new technology will fundamentally eliminate the "three wastes" generated, instead of "roasting-leaching" method, the feasibility and project economic efficiency and environmental benefits of this research are good.
