With the dramatic increase in world population, the development of industry and agriculture and the improvement in living standards, human society has shown an unprecedented high demand for water from quantity to quality. As the measures for pollution control are lagging behind the development of economic, environmental problems such as discharge of domestic sewage and industrial wastewater and excessive use of fertilizers are very serious, control and prevention of wastewater have been put on the agenda. Develop a simple and efficient water treatment system is of great social and economic benefits. So from the above questions, we develop a water treatment system based on combined technology of Titanium dioxide (TiO2) superoxidation and microwave plasma techniques with the laboratory features, experimental results show that it has a good removal effect of heavy metal ions and organic. Main tasks were as follows:1. Briefly introduced the overview of water treatment technology, and systematic summarized the research status and development trends of superoxidation technique in the application of water treatment.2. A review of TiO2 superoxidation technique and microwave plasma technique, and summarized the principle, application, advantages and disadvantages of the combined techniques systematically.3. Constructed a water treatment system based on the combined techniques of TiO2 superoxidation and microwave plasma, and described the hardware in detail with particular focus on pH fuzzy controller and its simulation.4. Basic study on application of the water treatment system based on the combined techniques of TiO2 superoxidation and microwave plasma in the removal of heavy metal ions and organic.5. Summary and prospective.
