The servocontrol system is the core technology in multi-axis CNC machine tools. The development of multi-axis CNC machine tools makes the traditional industry and the production-manufacturing industry develop rapidly ,and the multi-axis CNC machine tools palys an important role in economic construction and defense industry. The Multi-axis CNC servocontrol system has become the key object of Multi-axis CNC machine field .Firstly,this thesis introduces the current situation and prospect of XY table control system. The control methods and working principle of XY table control system are presented . Some kinds of control methods are investigated for the highprecision contour machining. And the mathematical model of XY table is established.According to the parameters of linear motor and the goal of controlment, the real-time contour error model of free-form curves is established, and the formulas of contour error are deduced.Secondly, according to the characteristics of XY table, the single-axis controller of XY table is designed. The ZPETC, repetitive and PDFF controller as the single-axis controller are adopted to reduce the tracking error. And, according to the real-time contour error model of XY table, the CCC (cross-coupling control) is designed. And, the variable-gain cross-coupled iterative learning controller is designed based on CCC. Using real-time contour error estimation model to estimate the contour error, and using iterative learning control, according to the relationship between the cross-coupling gain to allocate X and Y axis compensation, to achieve the periodic real-time contour error compensation.Finally ,the model building and simulation of linear motor XY table variable-gain cross-coupled iterative learning control system are accomplished by MATLAB.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the solution can improve the accuracy of linear motor XY table system and effectively implement the fast tracking performance of the system.
