Spray polyurea elastomer (referred SPUA) is a new green paint, which developed 20 years ago abroad.SPUA has lots of characteristics, such as fast-curing, moisture, temperature insensitive, 100% solids, environmentally-friendly, and high efficiency; excellent physical and mechanical properties such as tensile strength, flexibility, anti-aging, anti-media, anti- grinding, etc., good resistance to high temperature performance and so on.Polyurea with its excellent performance, has been the best choice for high-speed rail bridge surface protection, especially non-ballast track surface ideal for waterproof wear.In June 2009, "Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway bridge concrete bridge deck waterproofing spray polyurea Interim technical conditions" was approved by Ministry of Railway Technology, the performance quota of polyurea was raised from the traditional tensile strength 10Mpa with 250% elongation at break to tensile strength 16Mpa with 400% elongation at break. Therefore need to improve traditional polyurea formulations and explore the construction of suitable conditions to meet the new standards the Ministry of Railways.This paper describes the polyurea development process and reaction principle, by adjusting the formula of polyurea to produce high elastic polyurea which meets the requirements of high-speed rail, and the formula also solves the primer selection, wet condition construction and other issues in the high-speed rail construction, as follows:1, By comparing the common market A component polyurea spray materials, fix the NCO reasonable value of about 15.5, which meets the polyurea waterproofing mechanical properties requirements most for the high-speed rail.2, Through a variety of MDI monomer screening, choose high content of 2'4 body as a liquid MDI-50 A component polyurea raw materials and identified the main formula.3, Through the screening and collocation of common amino chain extender E100, E300, W6200 and other materials, determine the chain extender selection of E100: W6200 = 5:2 or so can reach the appropriate reaction time, it is closest to the requirements of the mechanical properties of high-speed rail.4, Through the screening and collocation of main raw material B component - terminal amino polyether, ultimately determine the basis formulations for spray polyurea. And send sample test for high-speed rail Provisional technical requirements of the performance testing. 5, Come to understand the polyurea equipment, to determine the optimum construction parameters, and work out reasonable on-site construction specifications for the high-speed rail. 6, Tracking the high-speed rail polyurea construction, analyzing and solving the problems during high-speed rail construction.
