Anodic Aluminum Oxide(AAO) as plate catalyst carrier can be used in catalytic reaciton with a series of comparative advantages,such as,higher thermal conductivity higher mechanical resistance and lower pressure drop.In this work,ordered porous AAO was prepared by the anodization method.The optimum conditions for the AAO was obtained by the investigations on the anodization temperature,anodization time and etc.The effects of crystalline structures were investigated under different hydration temperature and time.The samples were characterized by XRD,SEM,BET,NH3-TPD and etc. to illustrate the structure,properties and stability.The results show that the preferred hydration temperature should be 80℃, at which the amorphous alumina can be transformed into AlOOH,and further to becomγ-Al2O3 at 500℃for 4h with the excellent stability.The activity and stability ofγ-Al2O3/Al catalysts were tested in DME hydrolysis reaction. Then, theCu/y-Al2O3/Al composite plate catalysts were prepared with different load time by the impregnation, which were used in DME SR to evaluate the catalytic activity.The results show that the equilibrium conversation of DME hydrolysis can reached at 325℃on plate catalyst,compared with 350℃on commercialγ-Al2O3, then the durability had an excellent performance. On the other hand, the composite plate catalysts, which were prepared with loading 24h in Cu(NO3)2 solution,show the superior catalytic activity for DME SR for production hydrogen.The conversion of DME and yield of H2 were 85.6% and 88.4%, with few components of by-products.
