| Modern production requires high accuracy and stability of CNC machine tools, which put forward higher requirements for all parts of the machine tools. Lathe-bed is an important component of CNC machine tools, and the improvement of its dynamic performance plays a key role in its performance. This paper focuses on the analysis of dynamic characteristics and structural improvement of CK1440 CNC lathe-bed.The finite element modal of the lathe-bed was built firstly in this paper, the modal parameters of the structure were analyzed and the weak points of the structure were found, which provided guidance for structural improvement. The original lathe-bed had a structure of welded steel, which is easy-deformed and have a poor vibration resistance. Based on the finite element analysis results in this article and the similar structures of the other lathe-beds, a new casting structure was designed in order to improving accuracy and stability of machine tools. The effects of the shape and dimensions of clearance hole and structure type of strengthening ribs on the structure were studied. After the comparison of many structure schemes, a reasonable lathe-bed structure type was got finally.Through the dynamic property analysis and structural improvement of CK1440 CNC lathe-bed, the weight of the structure was reduced and the natural frequency of the structure was increased, the dynamic performance of the bed was improved. It has also provided a reference for product design and manufacture of the similar products. |
