With the rapid development of industrial technology, all kinds of ferromagnetic materials in various fields have been applied more and more. Therefore, testing the safety performance of the ferromagnetic materials has taken more and more attention by people. The general direction of ferromagnetic materials detection can be divided into damage detection and nondestructive testing, based on electromagnetic method of steel stress concentration area detection method is the one of the nondestructive testing, it can not only on the material of the existing defects detection, but also detect the ferromagnetic materials of stress concentration area, so can rise to avoid an accident warning role. Because of this set of test equipment having the strong operating performance and low cost characteristic, make it become stress testing technology of the new development direction, got more and more attention.Based on electromagnetic nondestructive testing method of the stress concentration regional is to use the ferromagnetic materials inverse magnetostrictive effect principle, namely the ferromagnetic materials under external force its internal magnetic resistance, magnetic conductivity internal parameters will change combining Faraday electromagnetic induction principle, design a magnetic sensor probe.It will changes the internal stress test the action of convert detecting coil parameters on the output voltage of the amount of variation, achieve the purpose of the test.Based on electromagnetic method of the stress concentration of the regional nondestru ctive testing system including sensor probe measurement system hardware data acquisition system, data fitting system four parts.This paper first introduces the material of magnetized mechanism and characteristics of ferromagnetic materials magnetization, then introduces the stress testing technology based on electromagnetic method of the design principle, and the results of all kinds of hardware and software environment resources to carry on the analysis, finally, through the experimental method is applied to the steel plate to stress concentration area inspection and data processing and analysis. The experiment is through the hydraulic stretch in the form of loading machine gradually completed, through the set up different excitation signal frequency, the different steel defects depth of dynamic and static detection. So as to find the stress concentration area signal and features of the relationship between signal detection. Through the experiment has proved that this method detection ferromagnetic materials stress concentration area, the feasibility of stress concentration area and the output signal with the increase of stress decreased ,in the steel plate fracture instant, the sharp decrease of the output signal. The experiment achieves the expected effect.
