Scaling has been the common problems in produced systems and gatheringtransportation systems of oilfield, scale inhibition becomes more and more important during the exploitation of oilfield.In all scale inhibited methods, addingscale inhibition is most economic and efficient.With the strengthening of environmental protection consciousness, application of organophosphorous scale inhibitions is increasingly restricted,because of problems of eutrophicated water body becomes more and more serious.With the global oil prices soaring, the pricesof acrylic acid from the main source of petroleum products constantly rise, and the costs of polycarboxylic acid scale inhibition with acrylic acid as the main monomer also constantly rise.According to the principle of green chemistry and thinking, we should choose itaconic acid monomers from biological fermentation products instead of acrylic acid monomer, and develop a novel kind of low phosphorus or nophosphorus, low toxicity, easy biodegradation and efficientscale inhibition.It corresponds the principle of green chemistry and thinking, and has the important meaning for oil and gas development.The scale inhibition of copolymer is synthesized with itaconic acid(IA), maleic acid(MA) and2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid(AMPS) as monomers, using ammonium persulfate as the initiator in the aqueous medium through radical polymerizationin in this paper.This paper discusses the influences ofreaction temperature, comonomer ratio, dosage of initiator and reaction time on the performance of polymer scale inhibition and obtains the optimum reaction conditions. This paper measures the intrinsic viscosity of the copolymer, andthe structure of the copolymer is also investingated through the FT-IR spectrophotometer.The results of the experiments shows that the optimum synthesis conditions is:the monomer ratio is nIA:nMA:nAMPS=1:1:1, the reaction temperature is80℃, the initiator dosage is5%, the reaction time is2h.Using static jar tests measures the performance of inhibited calcium carbonate and dispersing ferric oxide as standards evaluates the inhibited and dispersing performance of the copolymer, the scale inhibition rate can reach to93.6%and light transmittance of dispersing ferric oxide can reach to60%when the concentration of polymer is50mg/L.The polymer have good performance of inhibited calcium carbonate, go od thermal stability,good property of calcium salt resistance,,good dispersive property.The IR spectra shows that containing carboxyl and sulfo group at the sametime.
