The Design On Sizing Machine Of Cotton Scrimber

The cotton stalks which resemble broad-leaved tree in the wood fiber are high-qualityraw materials for the production of recombined materials. This paper studied the importantstep of the production of cotton scrimber—sizing,the design on sizing machine and theperformance of this machine. This study has great significance for the industrial production ofcotton scrimber.The thesis studied the physic-chemical properties of the KGM-CA-PVA ternary blendingadhesives and designed a toothed roller sizing machine of cotton scrimber which pointed atthe adhesive features of poor flowability and inconvenient carriage. The prototype had beentrail-manufactured and its performance test had also been finished. On this basis,the designimprovement schemes are raised. In this study,the main research conclusion achieved:1. Measured the rheological behaviors of the KGM-CA-PVA ternary blendingadhesives,after preparing the adhesive. The value ranges of the pH and the viscosity ofKGM-CA-PVA ternary blending adhesives are3.86～4.71and104.4Pa·s～3136Pa·s. theadhesives is pale yellow and its opacity is0.4%.2. Designed a kind of impressafining sizing machine. Finish the design of the structureand parameters of components. Draw assembly and key components of the map.3. According to design drawing,the first generation of trial-produced sizing machine ofcotton scrimber had been fulfilled. The trial-produced impressafining sizing machine includeda couple of defibering toothed rollers,a couple of glue pools,reduction gear drivemechanisms and racks etc.4. Completed the performance test of the first generation of cotton scrimber. The speedof glue rollers were98rpm. Feeding volume of the sizing machine was0.85～2.35kg/min andsizing quantity was0.32～0.98kg/min. The cotton stalk absorbing quantity of adhesive was11.92～36.42g/kg.5. According to the performance test of the sizing machine,design improvements was raised. The adjusting mechanism of the glue rollers and the electronic belt weigher will befixed and the speed of the glue rollers will be transformed.
