Aerobic granular sludge is a kind of self-immobilized sludge, which is foundunder the aerobic condition. Evidence showed that aerobic granules could grow ondifferent carbon source, and form at different organic loading rates. It appears fromprevious research that Aerobic granular sludge has the following advantages: goodsettling properties,tolerance of high organic loading,and high biomass and biologicalactivity. Granular sludge have achieved the higher sludge concentration in the reactor,which reducing the volume of the reactor and reducing the shock loading. The granularsludge has become a research hotspot in the field of water treatment. Althoughbiogranulation technology has been successfully applied in wastewater treatment. Theculture techniques of rapid formation and stable operation on the granular sludge underaerobic conditions still need to be further explored.This paper designed the addition of network board structure in SBR (SequencingBatch Reactor), and studied the cultivation of aerobic granular sludge and thetreatment effect. Through orthogonal test, this study makes a search for the optimumparameters of the rapid and stable formation of aerobic granular sludge in SBR withPlastic Pore Plate, which to provide first-hand information for using it in the practiceof engineering. The contents of the experiment are as follows:(1) This paper designed the diameter of68mm, the aperture of8mm stencil set inthe SBR. Through analysis of flow pattern and experimental analysis in the reactor, theresults show that: The network board settings were to improve the hydraulic conditionswithin the reactor, and to create an environment for microbial attachment growth, andto combine activated sludge and biofilm, and to created favorable conditions for therapid and stable formation of aerobic granular sludge.(2) Under experimental conditions: organic loading13.8kgCOD/(m3·d),aerationrate0.200.25m3/h, the settling time2030min, the temperature is at roomtemperaturein the range of1222℃, the pH value of7.0±0.1,run cycle for3h,granular sludge nuclei appear in SBR reactor after running10d; after30days, aerobicgranular sludge have become the main form in the reactor, which have clear outline,smooth surface,dense structure,brownish yellow color,macroscopic,0.54.0mm ofparticle size,and have a good settling characteristics.(3) After reactor running100d, the mature and stable aerobic granular sludgeformed, and which have1.5mm of particle size,16.96mL/g of SVI,1.0345of specific density,41.2m/h of particle settling velocity,The removal rate of COD,NH4+-N,TN,TP,S reached90%,87%,78.21%,81.15%,99.9%respectively.
