This paper is based on virtual prototype technology to establish a medium-calibre naval gun robot virtual prototype model, using a simulation model on automata, are automata Dynamics response, according to the automated maneuvering mechanical laws, proposed reducing the improved scheme of gun recoil, and the programme has been validated.The main contents of this article:The virtual prototype model of the Naval Gun's Automatic mechanism was established by using multi-body dynamics software ADAMS. Automatic mechanism's geometric model was built, had solved the complex system geometry modelling problem, the complex system movement restraint infliction question, the contact collision function reasonable definition question, the special load mathematics modelling and the load question in the modelling process. On the virtual prototype simulation and checking, proper simulation parameters for simulation, and to adjust the virtual prototyping, by parsion,simulation results were close to actual measured data, showed that the simulation and analysis results are confident. Using virtual prototype simulation of the dynamic response of automatic machines, including automatic machine recoil, recoil motion feature, automatic machine dynamic characteristics of each subsystem, Proposed two improved recoil reduction programs, and the improvement of the Programme for the simulation test simulation results proved that the improvement of the programme clearly effective and practical.
