The application of planar integrated magnetics in the traditional multi-phase interleaving parallel voltage regulator modules (VRM) make them toward the direction of low voltage and large current and"short, small, light, thin". However, the magnetic coupling between each phase of the magnetic circuit complicates the work of the planar integrating VRM, and it is greater difficulty to design and control on VRM because of their coupling between inputs and outputs. In order to study these problems for playing the superiority of integrated magnetics, this paper choose 3-phase non-isolated VRM with integrated magnetic as the research object. Firstly, the work state of 3-phase integrating magnetic VRM is analyzed and voltage loop equation is established, the affine nonlinear model of 3-phase voltage regulator module with integrated magnetics is aslo set up by integration method on switch pulse wave, and the state variable feedback linearization control model of 3-phase integrating magnetic VRM is given based on the differential geometry theory. Then optimize quadratic performance index by the theory of passive control so that the design of the exact feedback linearization control law on 3-phase magnetic integrated VRM is more reasonable, and take the weight coefficient of performance in the dynamic response of the system into account. At last, the simulation results about control of nonlinear control and PI control are given, they show the performance on dynamic and steady state is better based on the state variable feedback linearization and passivity control.
