Current Situation And Garden Use Of Wild Rhododendron Resources In Qinghai Province

The Rhododendron is a group of beautiful plants with strong ecological adaptability and colorful flowers.China is rich in Rhododendron species distribution,the cultivate history about Rhododendron is very long ,but the development level about Rhododendron resorce is on a fall behind condition in a long time.After open reform,by the development of Garden and flowers facilities,the Rhododendron get into the flowers and Gardens market gradually,moreover,it,s have a part of dimensions and economic effeciency,but the type is dull relatively,haven,t bring into play it,s nature superiority of Rhododendron.Qinghai province is lociated at the adge areas of the Rhododendron centre distribution on Adia,and distributied many species of Rhododendron.Qinghai province is fall behind of ecnomince development,moreover special geography and climate environment, is very short of evergreen flower bush species,and the Rhododendron is good parents material of domesticate and culvate new evergreen flower bush breed.At present,no studies on the aspect of view and admire value,s progressively using to develop systematic germplasm resources investigate and chossing breed material research in Qinghai province. In view of fact, the study was composit on the wild Rhododendron resources in Qinghai. By the methods of plot- investigation, the wild Rhododendron resources have been considered on southwest in Qinghai province, including Yushu,Guoluo, Menyuan Xianmiand Datong Baoku.Using the method of classify analyse,studied the related,chosed good value and on intimate with related species for new species breed materals,moreover analysised the garden use about Rhododendron.The main results were as follows:1.According to the investigation,26 species in 4 sects 5 subsects 4 subgens were surveyed. And their distribution regions,associated plants,vegetation,ecological environment,morphology,and florescence were also surveyed in detail.2.According to the florescence value and related analysis,the R.rufum, R.principis and R.wallichiianf etc. were have good value and closed related.They are good breed materal,moreover it refer to the development of new flower species.3.According to the characteristics of Rhododendron, 4 rank appraisal indexes are selected for 26 species of Rhododendron in Qinghai province.At last,appraisalled the garden use of every Rhododendron.The study included Rhododendron germplasm resources investigation, related analysis , evaluation ,select fine breed material,which is to provide scientific bases for preserve and cultivate assortment of wide Rhododendron resource.
