Objective:To understand the population of Urumqi City, middle-aged men with metabolic syndrome (MS) incidence and related factors, of effective control measures. Methods:The medical center 2009 medical examination at our hospital in Urumqi Uygur and Han population in the older men as research subjects, height, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose (GLU), triglyceride (TG), high and low density lipoprotein (HDL-C) and other projects, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results:The overall prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 11.61%, which was higher than that in Uygur and Han nationalities in the incidence of metabolic syndrome incidence, risk factors, the highest incidence of dyslipidemia, followed by abdominal obesity, hypertension, abnormal glucose metabolism. Conclusion:The Uighur population in the higher incidence of MS and MS between the two national incidence of the risk factors and demographic differences.
