Objective: To observe the clinical effects of treating hypertension(yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactive)and the effection on hematic endothelin and nitric oxide with the magenetic therapy of Yongquan(KI 1).Methods:60 patients who met the criteria were randomly separated into 2 groups: treating group,30 cases ,using the magnetic therapy of Yongquan(KI1),control group ,30 cases , using routine acupuncture therapy. Blood pressure was tested everyday by the patient, every three days by the author, and recorded. Scores of TCM symptoms were taken and hematic endothelin and nitric oxide were tested before and after the treatment.Results:1 Two methods both can stably control blood pressure in the normal range (P < 0.01). The efficient rate of the treatment group was 93.33% and control group was 90.00% . There was no difference between the efficiency of the two groups (P > 0.05).2 Two methods both can effectively improve the clinical symptoms (P <0.01), The efficient rate of the treatment group was 90.00% and the control group 96.67%.There was no difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).3 Two methods can regulate the metabolism of nitric oxide and endothelin (P <0.05 or P < 0.01).There was no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion: The clinical effects of treating hypertension ( yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactive)with the magenetic therapy of Yongquan(KI1) were remarkable. The therapy can improve the clinical symptoms and regulate the metabolism of nitric oxideand endothelin ,it had no difference comparing to the routine acupuncture therapy.
