Objective:To study the efficacy of the prescription of jingyaotong II with PKP in treating thoracolumbar compressed fractures in aged patients with Osteoporotic.Method:From july 2009 to February 2011,collected 83 cases of Kidney and blood stasis of OVCF patients for a prospective study, who were hospitalized department of orthopedics in The Shenzhen Pingle orthopedic hospital after Syndrome Differentiation. All patients were randomly divided into two groups, including 46 cases in A group (PKP+caltrate+the prescription of jingyaotong II) and 37 cases in B group(PKP+caltrate). All patients had a history of trauma and significant back pain, which must be done history taking, physical examination X-ray,CT,MRI and bone mineral density test to make a definite diagnosis: thoracolumbar compressed Fractures in aged patients with Osteoporotic. There was no radiculopathy or myelopathy. The treatment efficacy was assessed by observing the change the percentage of anterior and middle vertebral height loss, Cobb angle and visual analogue scale (VAS), and assess overall effect of patients.Results:1.Back pain was efectively relieved 24 hours after the operation in all cases.PKP is significant in analgesic effect.the analgesic effect of prescription of jingyaotongⅡwith PKP is better than PKP after3 days and 12 months.2.Extra-vertebral leakage of bone cement was observed by means of X in 8 cases (10 vertebraes) next day, while caused no nerval symptoms.PKP can significantly restore the front and middle vertebral height.Follow-up 12 months after operation,A group reduced anterior vertebral height loss, that is better than B group.percentage of middle vertebral height does not loss between A group and B group.3.PKP is excellent in effect of correction of kyphosis.Follow-up 12 months after operation, the Cobb angle of jingyaotong II with PKP group is stabler than PKP group.4. After a year of two groups of patients'treatment, the difference cure rate of A group and B group was statistically significant. Conclusion:1. Percutaneous kyphoplasty can efficently relieve back pain of the wounded, restore the vertebral height and correction of kyphosis in the treatment of horacolumbar osteoporotic compressed fractures. But long-term follow-up found,PKP cann't maintain anterior vertebral height and Cobb angle;2. Prescription of jingyaotongⅡis very well in Long-term effect.Long-term follow-up found.lt can tonisy kidney and activat blood, strengthen sinew and bone, so can enhance the analgesic effect of PKP, improve the quality of life, reduct vertebral height loss.
