| Maximal oxygen uptake is recognized as the assessment of cardiopulmonary function and an important indicator of aerobic capacity. In recent scientific researches, the maximum oxygen uptake test methods continue to improve and have made a great progress, but most studies are comparative study of accuracy for different people, different loads or different methods. The effective studies of the maximum oxygen uptake test methods combined with specific exercise are few. In this paper, two typical postures of riding aerobic power bicycle are used to try to find a suitable aerobic capacity test method used in running events. Analyze the cause of maximal oxygen uptake data differences with the maximum oxygen uptake test results and characteristics of the major muscle EMG between two different riding ways. Sum up the maximal oxygen uptake test method corresponding to the running events and supply references for the future research and training.Purpose: Design a backward riding way of simulating back driving in running with self-developed hip-stress bicycle seat and test the maximal oxygen uptake to compare with the traditional riding way of power bicycle. We hope to find the differences and relationships between two ways and identify the causes, and improve the power bicycle maximal oxygen uptake test method further. So that it can provide a more rational and scientific testing methods and data reference for the assessment and the special training of aerobic capacity test in running events.Target: 11 students in Ocean University of China, the subjects were male, mean age 23±2 years, mean height 180.65±3.06cm, mean weight 76.20±3.38 kg Methods: The Swedish MONARK839 type bicycle power meter and JE-TB0810 eight-channel EMG acquisition system, Sony high-speed camera was used in the maximum oxygen uptake test for 11 sprinters in two different riding ways. The experiments use high speed photography and surface EMG to monitor the biological characteristics of gluteus maximums, biceps femoris, rectus femoris of left lower limb when the main muscles works.Key findings:1. The maximum oxygen uptakeThe maximum oxygen uptake measured from the traditional way is larger than the one of hip-stress back driving riding way.(2) EMG trends:(A)In a round of traditional way of riding pedal power bicycle, the order that muscles discharge is the rectus femoris - gluteus maximus - the biceps femoris; the order of end discharge is the rectus femoris - gluteus maximus - the biceps femoris; the order of discharge duration is the biceps femoris> rectus femoris> gluteus maximus; the contribution of lower limb main muscles was the rectus femoris> gluteus maximus> biceps femoris.(B) In a round of hip-stress way of riding pedal power bicycle, the order that muscles discharge is the rectus femoris - the biceps femoris-gluteus maximus; the order of end discharge is the rectus femoris - gluteus maximus - the biceps femoris; the order of discharge duration is the rectus femoris>biceps femoris> gluteus maximus; the contribution of lower limb main muscles was the rectus femoris> gluteus maximus> biceps femoris.contribution of lower limb main muscles was the rectus femoris> biceps femoris>gluteus maximus(3) The maximum oxygen uptake between traditional riding way and hip-stress back driving riding way has a significant positive correlation. (R2 = 0.9488)The equation speculated from traditional way to hip-stress riding way is that y = 0.6489x + 0.7542. Conclusion:1. Traditional riding way characterized by periodic forward extending motion can show greater aerobic capacity than hip-stress riding way characterized by periodic back driving motion.2. The motion structure of hip-stress backward driving riding way is more close to the actual running techniques than traditional way in the direction of force, motion structure and mobilization of working muscles. It can reflect the characteristics of running events better and are the reasonable motion forms of aerobic capacity bicycle evaluation methods.3. The maximum oxygen uptake got from the traditional riding way overestimate the special aerobic capacity in running events, it should be corrected. |
