| Objective:To investigate the clinical features, treatment strategies, the prognosis and rationality of its clinical treatment of cervical damage of nasopharyngeal cancerMethods:collecting 40 cases of only cervical damage of nasopharyngeal cancer in the first treatment. First, under the analysis of MRI,PET-CT or CT and ECT, two separate groups are divided:1. the cervical vertebrae encroachment in nasopharyngeal cancer (T4N1-3M0)20 cases.2. only transfer of cervical vertebrae in nasopharyngeal cancer T1-4N1-3M1 22 cases. Analyze and compare both PFS and OS in survival differences and Single factor to analysis of clinical characteristics and the relation between treatment schemes and prognosis. Results:Median follow-up for the 36 patients was 19 months. Median survival time for being alive was 15 months.24 cases of death and 16 cases of survival. The total survival of the two groups is 58% and 38% in two years(P=0.173). Progression-free survival is 42.9% and 27.3%(P=0.361). According to a single factor analysis, in the cases of the cervical vertebrae encroachment in nasopharyngeal cancer (T4N1-3M0), treatment strategies, the recent effect,EBV Virus quantity and type of failure are independent prognostic factors. Only the cervical vertebrae transfer in nasopharyngeal cancer T1-4N1-3M1, HBG,PLT and ZPS marks, type of failure are independent prognostic factors.Conclusion:1. two-years survival rate of the damage of cervical vertebrae in nasopharyngeal cancer (T4N1-3M0 or T1-4N1-3M1) is almost no difference from progression-free survival rate, type of failure are independent prognostic factors in two groups. but the recent effect is obvious.2. As to the cervical vertebrae encroachment in nasopharyngeal cancer (T4N1-3M0), treatment strategies, the recent effect,EBV Virus quantity are independent prognostic factors. For the cervical vertebrae transfer in nasopharyngeal cancer T1-4N1-3M1, HBG,PLT,ZPS marks are independent prognostic factors. |
