| Objective:To probe into expression ofβ-catenin, CRD-BP and its clinical significance in the tissues of the human rectal cancer sequence. Methods:The expression ofβ-catenin and CRD-BP are detected by immunohistochemistry, using the SP staining method at 60 rectal carcinomas tissues and 20 normal rectal mucosal tissues. The data is analyzed with clinicopathologic parameters by principle of statistics. Results:The ectopic expression rates of P-catenin in rectal carcinomas tissues and normal rectal mucosal tissues were 85% (51/60),5% (1/20). The membrane fault rates ofβ-catenin in rectal carcinomas tissues and normal rectal mucosal tissues were 65% (39/60),0 (0/20). The ectopic expression rates and membrane fault rates ofβ-catenin in rectal carcinomas tussion were significant higher than the rates in normal rectal mucosal tissues (P<0.05). In rectal carcinomas tissues, the ectopic expression rates ofβ-catenin were not different form each other in statistics (P> 0.05), the membrane fault rates were statistically significant (P<0.05). The ectopic expression and membrane faulting expression ofβ-catenin were not correlated with the age, gender, tumorous location, tumorous morphology, CEA, histology grade, Duke stage, lymph mode metastasis and remote metastasis 0.05)... |
