Objective:To investigate the Relationship of the expression among P-glycoprotein, Multiple Resistance-associated Protein-1,and GST-πin Cervical Squmous Carcinoma for Prediction of Response to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in ethnic Uigur and Han woman. Methods:The specimens of 22 cases with cervical squmous carcinoma before and after NACT are examined by S-P immunohistochemistry in ethnic Uigur women with 20 cases of normal control. The specimens of 30 cases with cervical squmous carcinoma before and after NACT are examined by S-P immunohistochemistry in Han women with 30 cases of normal control.Results:①In ethnic Uigur women:P-gp positive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 10% and 72.73%; MRP1 positive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 20%,40.91%; GST-πpositive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 45%,90.91%.The positive expression rate of P-gp and GST-πin cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT have a significantly higher than in normal cervical (P<0.05).②In ethnic Han women:P-gp positive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 10% and 56.67%; MRP1 positive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 40%,86.67%; GST-πpositive expression rate in normal and cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT are 20%,60%。The positive expression rate of P-gp, GST-πand MRP1 in cervical squmous carcinoma before NACT all have a significantly higher than in normal cervical (P<0.05).③In ethnic Uigur women:GST-πpositive expression rate after NACT has a significantly higher than that before NACT (P<0.05).④n ethnic Han women:P-pg and GST-πpositive expression rate after NACT has a significantly higher than that before NACT (P<0.05).⑤In ethnic Uigur women:P-gp expression negative rate before NACT has higher effective rate than the positive groups (P<0.05).⑥In ethnic Han women: P-gp GST-πexpression negative rate before NACT has higher effective rate than the positive groups (P<0.05).⑦The effective of NACT between the Han women and the ethnic Uigur has no distinction (p>0.05)Conclusion:1 The effective of NACT has no distinction between ethnic Uigur and Han women.2 P-glycoprotein may participate in primary drug resistance of cercical carcinoma, meanwhile, GST—πmay participate in secondary drug resistance of cercical carcinoma.3 The NACT effective rate in P-gp negative group is significantly higher than that in the positive groups.4 Joint detection the expression of multiple drug resistance protein is useful to reval the effect of chemotherapy and evaluate the efficiency of NACT, and it is useful to formulate effective individualized treatment plan.
