Professor Xiaolin Tong's Laws Of Prescription And His Experience Of Treatment Of Diabetic Kidney Desease

The study lasted 17 months, included 161 patients of diabetic kidney disease, And a total of 504 consultation meetings were included,80 patients with diabetic kidney disease stageⅢ, 25 patients with stageⅣ,56 patients with stageⅤrespectively., including 225 consultation times of diabetic kidney disease stageⅢ,82 times of stageⅣ,197 times of stageⅤrespectively.Objects:①We discussed the effects, including traditional Chinese medicine group and the combined treatment group, compared those two groups. And we compared self-efficacy before and after treatment, and compared the efficacy of symptom improvement.②We discussed Professor Xiaolin Tong's laws of prescription and his experience of treatment of diabetic kidney desease, including major herbs and its associated dose, in order to promote using experience for clinical practice.③We discussed laws of those main symptoms and syndrome of diabetic kidney disease.④We discussed different herbs for different symptoms, and counted frequency of herbs with different symptoms.⑤We discussed different doses for different symptoms, by stratified index. We discussed the relationship between prescription drug dosage changes and indicators;⑥We discussed the impact on the efficacy of drugs, using logistic regression analysis, regression model.⑦We summaried Professor Xiaolin Tong's experience in treatment of diabetic kidney disease systematically and comprehensively.⑧We discussed the methodology of summative experience of traditional Chinese medicine experts, through this research, to find out-patient cases of data mining models and methods. Methords:We collected those cases, and analyzed retrospectively. We collected, collated, tracked, completed cases, and standardized cases, fill in the standardized form, for statistical analysis. We analyzed patients'general information, main symptoms, and treatment efficacy, and prescriptions. In this paper, logistic regression, Wilcoxon rank sum test, Fisher exact test and other statistical methods for data processing and analysis were appplied.Results:①Insomnia, fatigue, nocturia increased, dry stool, edema are the main symptoms of diabetic kidney disease of stageⅢ. Insomnia, fatigue, dry stool, sweating, cold are the main symptoms of diabetic kidney disease of stageⅣ; Fatigue, edema, nocturia increased, cold, dry stool are the main symptoms of diabetic kidney disease of stageⅤ.②Diabetic kidney disease of stageⅢ:1 month effective rate was 72%,2 months effective rate was 88.24%,3 months effective rate was 83.33% and 6 months effective rate was 88.89%. Diabetic kidney disease of stage IV:25 patients were included, although the efficacy was 100%, the information was incomplete, and the sample size was too small, missing more effective statistics. Diabetic kidney disease of stageⅤ:effective rate of 3 months was 92.31%,6 months effective rate was 83.33%,12 months effective rate was 72.73%.③The frequency of herbs of diabetic kidney disease of stageⅢ, the top 10 ranked herbs were coptis, hirudo powder, wined rhubarb, scutellaria, dried ginger, kudzu, monascus, ginger, anemarrhena, burned licorice, and so on. The frequency of herbs of diabetic kidney disease of stageⅣ, the top 10 ranked herbs were wined rhubarb, hirudo powder, coptis, burned astragalus, ginger, scutellaria, monascus, kudzu, dried ginger, pinellia. The frequency of herbs of diabetic kidney disease of stage V, the top 10 ranked herbs were wined rhubarb, burned astragalus, hirudo powder, made aconite, salvia, ginger, poria, monascus, coptis, asarum.④About dose, most of the drug in the dose of one Liang equal 15.625 grams, through we improved the formulation of hirudo powder, to blunt thus to reduce intake dose amount. The statistics of difference doses for different symptoms, only wined rhubarb, burned astragalus, hirudo powder of diabetic kidney disease of stage V showed significantly different.⑤Analysis of relationship of efficacy and drug, because of the small sample size, we failed to make statistically significant.⑥We summaried Professor Xiaolin Tong's experience in treatment of diabetic kidney disease systematically and comprehensively. What's more, we exampled cases and analyzed them.Conclusions:In this study, the clinical out-patient medical records were reviewed, we discussed the efficacy and rules of using herbs of professor Tong. And we summaried Professor Xiaolin Tong's experience in treatment of diabetic kidney disease systematically and comprehensively.
