The Clinical Observation Of Message Therapy Of Dispelling Pathogenic Wind For Tranquillization In The Treatment Of Chronic Motor Or Vocal Tic Disorder | | Posted on:2012-08-23 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:P Zhao | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2214330338952532 | Subject:Acupuncture and Massage | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:The incidence of chronic motor or vocal tic disorder has increased in china in recent years.Chronic motor or vocal tic disorder(CTD) exerted huge negative influence of child's self-identity and social-identity,and led to serious psychological barriers.There was't any message therapy to cure CTD.The objective of this research was to observe the intervention role of quieting wind and calming spirit message therapy.Methods:A total of 40 patients with chronic motor or vocal tic disorder were divided into two groups experimental group with quieting wind and calming spirit message therapy (20cases),and control group with Chinese medicine(20cases).Treatment time was 2 week for a course of treatment.The efficacy before the treatment and the efficacy after 3 coarse of the treatment was measured by the Yale global tic severity scale(YGTSS).Results:YGTSS Total motor scores of treatment group and control group were significantly lower than the scores before treatment(P<0.01),YGTSS Total scores of the message therapy of dispelling pathogenic wind for tranquillization was lower than the scores of control group(P<0.05).The results suggest the message therapy issignifecantly effective to CTD,and the experimental group is more effective to control group in the treatment of CTD.
