1,ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)technique in the detection of p53 gene deletion, and to evaluate its application in the diagnosis of the feasibility and clinical application prospect of lung adenocarcinoma.2,Materials and methodsThe mutation of p53 gene deletion in 30 cases of adenocarcinoma and 20 benign lung tumor tissues were detected by FISH technique, and the difference between the two groups was analyzed. Meanwhile, positive detection threshold was established to compare the positive rate of p53 gene deletion between the two groups. 30 cases of lung cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry for p53 protein expression, then, the contaction between the p53 gene deletion and p53 protein expression was also analyzed.3,ResultsCompared with the 20 benign lung tumor tissues (13.3%±2.4%), the deletion expression rates of the p53 gene in 30 cases of adenocarcinoma were significantly increased (38.3%±8.9%,P<0.01). The p53 gene deletion expression rates between the p53 protein positive and negative groups had no significant differences(P>0.05).4,ConclusionThe high frequency of p53 gene deletion may play an critical role in the development of lung adenocarcinoma, and the application of FISH technique in the detection of P53 gene deletion rate may provide a more accurate evidence for the diagnosis and treatment.1,ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between CT signs of lung cancer and p53 gene deletion rate.2,Materials and methods30 cases of adenocarcinoma of the p53 gene deletion were detected by FISH technique and the relationship with preoperative CT signs was analyzed by retrospective analysis.3,Resultsp53 gene deletion rate has a significant correlation with mediastinal lymph nodes metastasis (P<0.05),but not with some signs such as tumor size , deep lobulation, spiculation short,spine-like processes, cancer empty vacuole and pleural indentation (P>0.05).4,ConclusionThere is a positive correlation between p53 gene deletion rate and the malignancy of lung cancer.
