| Nowadays 26% of the population in our country have high danger possibility of getting cardiovascular disease .Not only is the people dying of the cardiovascular disease about 2,500,000 to 3,000,000 per year, but also the expense of treatment is approximately 309.8 billion Yuan per year . With the development of human society, the average of human longevity has increased, which has changed the distribution of the human age structure. And it also leads to the increments of the percentage of the aging population. The aged are of a higher probability to get the cardiovascular disease. So our country faces a great challenge in the fact of the cardiovascular disease. Therefore, the treatment and the prevention of the cardiovascular disease is a hard work for our country.As the blood pressure is an important parameter of preventing and treating the cardiovascular disease, it shows a great significance for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular system disease, as well as for the prevention of the disease among the normal people. Besides, the blood pressure is a routine examining item in the hospital. Although there are many methods to measure the blood pressure, the non-invasive blood pressure measuring method is the most popular one. It is convenient and safe to operate without any surgery, so it can avoid the infection that the invasive measuring methods may have. These advantages make it possible to be widely used in future.Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV) is one of the important techniques of the non-invasive blood pressure measuring method. In 1976, Brain Gribbin proposed using the PWV to measure the change of blood pressure, and got a success. Nevertheless, it can't give accurate blood pressure at that time. PWV made the non-invasive continuous blood pressure measuring more convenient and it is significant. But this method needs to use other methods to measure blood pressure first to get parameters of the measuring formula. And it is one of the main obstacles that prevent it to be widely used. So researchers must continue to do research to solve the accuracy problem, and make it possible to measure without using other methods to do it first. If these problems can be solved, PWV will be a convenient blood pressure measuring method in future. Not only can PWV measure the blood pressure, but also it is an important parameter for estimating vascular elasticity. There is an important relationship between the blood pressure and the vascular elasticity. In the research we analyze pulse waveform in frequency domain, and propose a new parameter to estimate vascular elasticity. Analysis of data shows that this parameter can estimate well, and can be conveniently measured. Then, we analyze how the differences of this new parameter and PWV affect blood pressure between different people, and find out that they have good correlation when subjects holding several body positions. So we propose use this characteristics to measure blood pressure to solve the problem that needing to reset the parameters of the blood pressure measuring formula before measuring when use PWV to measure blood pressure, and explore a new blood pressure measuring method. |
