| Light therapy has a long history, because of its characteristics and combined with chinese and western therapy, can treat a variety of diseases. With development of science and technology, the optical therapy instruments haven't satisfied people's need, in the situation of needing large irradiation area and wide spectrum radiation, laser is not suitable for treatment. Now LED's wavelength range, light intensity, photoelectric conversion efficiency, working life and so on have been improved greatly and it applies in medicine very widely. But now because LED have a large divergence angle, it makes LED therapeutic equipment treat the diseases on body surface in limit. For the purpose of LED cavity treatment, the thesis designs two LED optical coupled systems to introduce the light into the cavity, and makes some correlation study of theories and experiments. Main content summed up as follows:(1) Briefly overview the characteristics of the medical LED light source, determine the design of LED driver circuit by the actual requirements of the project and some problem in designing circuit. Propose fiber-coupled LED treatment for four clinical medical applications.(2) Design LED fiber-coupled system based a single fiber, make a detail analysis of LED light source and optical fiber to determine which is best for this project, and obtain LED fiber coupling efficiency reached 11.096% through software simulation.(3) For improving the fiber coupling efficiency of LED, design a LED coupling system based fiber bundle, detailedly analysis the structure of LED and fiber bundle. Finally obtain optical power from the end of fiber bundle reached 34.2% through the experiments. |
