Objective:To explore the relativity of blood volume and stroke volumevariability obtained by FloTrac/Vigileo system during one-lung ventilationMethods:Forty ASA Ⅱ male patients, body mass index20~25kg/m2,aged50-60yr scheduled for elective gastric carcinectomy were stud-ied.Anaesthesia was induced with fentanyl (4μg·kg-1), propofol (2mg·kg-1),and rocuronium (0.6mg·kg-1). Robertshow double-lumen endobronchial tubewas inserted. Correct position of the tube was verified by fiberoptic broncho-scopy. Then, patients were mechanically ventilated,mechanical ventilationwas set up using volume-controlled ventilation with tidal volume6ml/kg,inspiratory to expiratory ratio1:1.5,and regulate inhaled sevoflurane densitymaintenance BIS in45-50, according to the circumstances of the type,ammonium additional library0.05mg/kg, maintain T4/T10. A catheter wasinserted in the right radial artery as part of the standard monitoring andconnected additionally to the FloTrac/Vigileo system to obtain SVV6%hydroxyethyl statch(HES130/0.4) was given i.v in7ladders30min afteranesthesia induction with the speed of0.67ml·kg-1·min-1(dosages of2ml·kg-1,4ml·kg-1,6ml·kg-1,8ml·kg-1,10ml·kg-1,12ml·kg-1).6%hydroxyethyl starch (130/0.4) intravenously infusion was stopped whilereaching a stage, at the same time, recorded SVV,CO,SV,CI by theFloTrac/Vigileo cardiac output monitoring system. Spearman's rankcorrelation was used to analyze the data.Results: The rank correlation coeficients between SVV and the cumulati-ve doses Hydroxyethyl starch infusion rank correlation coefficient was-0.180(0.275), rCO:0.548(0.153),rSV:0.551(0.105),rCI:0.550(0.312)obtained by APCO, using the FloTrac/Vigileo system under one lungventilation. SVV and hydroxyethyl starch infusion of correlation between poor, rCO, rSV, rCI comparison, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05)Conclusion:The relativity of blood volume and stroke volume variabilityobtained by FloTrac/Vigileo system during one-lung ventilation is poor,SVVis failure to reflect the change of volume.
