| Through the article, the writer hopes to find consensus and differences by analyszing and comparing the noumenon between the Lao-tzu Philosophy and the Western Theology in order to acquire the tolerance and understanding during the conceptual exchanges between two cultures. Based on the center of"Tao"and"God", respectively as the core of Lao Tzu's philosophy and the noumenon in Christ Faith, this paper takes the"pre-existing"and"infinity"as the starting point and tries to explore their consensus and differences on the ontological nature. As for the discussion on pre-existing, the paper mainly seizes the chaotic state and the reproductive capacity of"Tao"so as to illustrate that"Tao"exists before everything in the formation and the heritage with the corresponding explanation of"God"nature of"independence"and"origin of all things". Then we can conclude that"God"and"Tao"have the similar"pre-existing"natures, but at the same time we can also find the totally opposite states after the formation of all things: one turns into all things from ("Tao") to"De", the other retains its own independent form ("God") to direct everything.Talking about the infinity, this paper firstly discusses Max Muller's theory of"third potential"from the perspective of infinity to explore the feasibility between two ontological concepts, then analyses and compares some characters of the infinity and the loop in the history from the aspects of"infinity""infinitesimal"and"infinite loop"of"God". And we see the loop of"Tao"is an unconscious process, while the loop of"God"is a subjective and non-repetitive process. The differences from the comparison of two aspects actually arise from those of the basic concepts, and that is whether we agree on the argument"noumenon has the subjective thoughts"or not. This involves"trinity"and more details will be illustrated in the rest discussion. |
