We divide the main content and representation into three types. The first one is the intellectuals'memories and development; the second one is the 1980th phenomenon on the screen; and the third one is the collective nostalgic affection among those born after 80s. In the first type, it is the intellectuals that mainly participate in it, some look back the good and bad times in the 1980s based on their own experiences; some, standing in the scientific position, strive to get the history in the 1980s defamiliarized, aiming to show its much more plentiful and complete images and accordingly make it beneficial to the literary study and development nowadays. In the second type, it is chiefly represented on the screen. The age factors of the 1980s not only become the productive background of some movies and TV series, but also important theatre elements. The 1980s phenomenon differs a lot in movies and TV series. The film directors attempt to tell stories labeled with 1980s features to obtain self-introspections and reflections on life; while TV series has formed a 1980s pattern, to express people's critiques and views on reality and history through some certain character type and plot pattern. And this kind of critique is limited. In the third type, the collective nostalgic affection refers to those who were born after 1980s start to cherish their childhood memories, which is caused by some psychological factors to some extent, also pushed by economic profit and business effect. Part II includes the description of the main representation of this ethos as well as the analysis of different profit driving and socioeconomic factors in different type.Partâ…¢:The introspection in history review. It is the conclusion of the essay. It is divided into three small sections to separately discuss the possibility and necessity of " Return to the 1980s " whose 1980s people are talking about and the distance we are from the real 1980s.
